Philip is a Chartered Surveyor with over thirty years of continuous service to landowners in the property development field since being London trained with international property advisors Healy and Baker (now Cushman Wakefield). In 2020 he merged his fifteen years business to form Chesters Harcourt. 

Having worked throughout the UK he brings an imagination and diversity to property advice that still takes him nationwide, although most work is based in the South West. 

With an unusual combination of planning and commercial knowledge, he specialises in providing strategic planning and marketing advice in land and commercial development. Specialising in market and coastal towns and their rural areas he understands how to obtain optimum returns from real estate for private and corporate landowners, commercial occupiers and entrepreneurs. 

With an interest in environmentally friendly and affordable schemes he advises national and local organisations on achieving innovative schemes and routes to market.
