Tim Cann

Tim is one of the south west's most experienced chartered surveyors with over 35 years experience in property services to the residential and land development markets in England and Wales. He has lived in Somerset most of his life, and for the last 25 years worked at Chesterton then BNP Paribas in key leadership roles in Bristol, Southampton, and London, and has included both Business Board roles and national responsibilities. In this way his local and national reach in development property has won him wide acclaim. 

He compliments the already strong core business of Chesters Harcourt having been involved in the appraisal, acquisition, and negotiation of complex strategic development sites for private landowners, developers, consortiums, and the Public Sector. This experience has enabled a clear understanding of markets the residential and commercial development land sectors. In addition to appointments as an Independent Expert in relation to land development, and dispute resolution providing independent determinations, Tim has been appointed as a Joint LPA Receiver, given evidence in the High Court, Planning Inquiries and at the Lands Tribunal.
