Acting on behalf of a land promoter Chesters Harcourt successfully provided viability advice on a proposed development of new housing. The Local Planning Authority had imposed particularly onerous planning obligation’s, including the provision of “flexible office/studio space”, within the scheme which would have rendered the development unviable. 

We successfully demonstrated at inquiry that the inclusion of such conditions were neither viable or deliverable.
