Our team are well versed in the viability of large scale development land and have advised on situations as outlined below:
- Acting for a consortium of landowners and housebuilders in the Midlands working alongside infrastructure cost consultants advising and submitting on the viability of a 5,500 unit scheme. Undertaking detailed appraisals allowing sensitivity on varying Section 106 Contributions, Affordable housing levels and tenures and other Policy items.
- Submitting to and attending a Planning Appeal in Hampshire as an Expert Witness in a dispute on the viability of a residential development scheme.
- Undertaking an instruction to settle with the Council a viability argument on 3,000 units and associated employment land in Oxfordshire with a scheme requiring abnormal levels of infrastructure and a design criteria to include a Net Zero Carbon standard of build.
- Assisting with representations and development appraisal analysis on a strategic site financial viability assessment in Worcestershire for 10,000 plots. Taking the matter to EIP and working with a group of advisers and landowners, promoters and house builders.
